Capacity and facilities:
32 passenger seats on the main deck, the upper deck and the galley.
WC and a shower.
Animation program for day-time cruises:
The main idea of the animation program is to give a feel of the life style of the sailors at the time of the Great Discoveries. The tourists actively take part in the show resembling a fifteen-century fairy tale.
First, the ship and the crew are introduced to the guests (3-4 min ), then follow a short presentation of Varna, the history of sailing in the Black Sea and the ships from the Era of the Great Discoveries.
The animation program fills up to 70% of the cruising time. The tourists can see replicas of authentic mediaeval navigation devices and can assist the captain in steering the ship. At the guests' disposal are costumes and accessories (bracelets, ear-rings, knives, swords etc.) identical with those worn at that time.
Grouped in several teams the tourists participate in lifting, lowering and steering the sails, safe climbing to the observation spot, lifting and lowering the anchors etc. A variety of mediaeval navigation instruments, old sea maps, elements of old ship equipment and arms are also to be seen.
The presence on board of a professional cameraman and a photographer gives the guests the opportunity to keep taped these memorable moments when dressed up in mediaeval costumes.
Each tourist will disembark the ship with a souvenir from the voyage - a personal necklace - certificate for an "Honorable Member of the Crew of Pinta Varna" issued and stamped by the Master.
Refreshments for the day-time cruise:
Freshly baked on board during the cruise croissants with fillings of ham, cheese, spinach, chocolate or berries, small pizzas, small "banitsa" (pastry).
